Take-Two Interactive, the holding company responsible for studios such as Rockstar Games, 2K, and Private Division, announced via its financial report that it plans to release 8 “new iterations of previously released titles” in fiscal year 2023 – 2025. Although the terminology itself is slightly vague, Take-Two goes to the trouble of providing a clear definition, indicating that it is “ports and remasters”.

You can read Take-Two’s full report here, which also details a total of 24 planned “core immersive” games in its lineup, as well as 7 “intermediate” games, currently consisting solely of the Tales from the Borderlands sequel.

What ports or remasters could we get, though? We’ve seen Bioshock: The Collection on Switch before, as well as the most recent (and strongly criticized) Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. We also know that the remakes of Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are in the works at Remedy, but chances are these won’t be coming to Switch (a possible Switch 2 port, though..? Hmm!).

It is possible that we can see Grand Theft Auto IV or Bully scholarship edition on Switch, or maybe the likes of Mafia 3 or Borderlands 3 – who knows! Time will tell, but with a current release window of up to fiscal year 2025, it’s likely we’ll be waiting a while before we see the full lineup.

Which Take-Two games would you like to see on Switch? Let us know in the comments below!
