Marvel’s Avengers Developer Crystal Dynamics has revealed that it’s giving away new in-game goodies to celebrate the game’s second anniversary. Since its first release in 2020, Marvel’s Avengers regularly gave players new items to add to their inventories on a fairly regular basis. Now, that trend has continued once again, although these new freebies are a bit more expansive than what we’ve seen in the past.
From today until September 15, Marvel’s Avengers players can look to download a free “gift” that Crystal Dynamics is giving away for the game’s anniversary. days and a unique 2 year anniversary nameplate. Additionally, the lot also includes a handful of other nameplates that have been released in the past. Specifically, some of these nameplates are related to the recent MCU movie. Thor: Love and Thunder and the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel.

To accompany this free package, Marvel’s Avengers makes quite significant discounts on the market. Also through September 15, a number of different outfits, emotes, nameplates, and other items have all been reduced by 50%. So if you are looking to buy something avengers with real money, now might be a good time to do it.
Finally, a number of in-game events will also appear in Marvel’s Avengers also over the next two weeks. These events include the Cosmic Threat, Tachyon Anomaly, and Corrupted Vibranium missions. Overall, Crystal Dynamics tries to give players a number of reasons to come back to Marvel’s Avengers this month to celebrate the game’s anniversary. Whether or not this translates to players returning to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms remains to be seen, but at the very least it’s good to see that the game still has some support.
