GREEN BAY – The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts softball team returns to the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament on Monday for the first time since their last championship in 2017.

Kaukauna takes on Wilmot on Monday, June 28, 2021 at noon at Bay Port High School. The winner of this match advances to the semi-final at 7 p.m. at King Park on the UW-Green Bay campus.

The title match is Wednesday at 3 p.m.

This will be Kaukauna’s third trip to this state. The Galloping Ghosts have won the Gold Trophy in their two previous appearances in the United States, most notably in 2010 and 2017.

This year, they advanced to the quarter-finals this season after a 6-1 win over Green Bay Preble in the Ashwaubenon section final. They are the Fox Valley Association champions this spring.

Each team received 300 tickets, which were sold at the school. There will be no on-site ticket sales.
