A new multiplayer game is coming this year called Hanako: Honor and Blade. The game allows up to 24 players to compete in feudal Japan. There are 4 warrior classes with different skills and play styles available and four play modes to choose from including Team Deathmatch, Capture the Scroll, and more. Hanako has been a huge, passionate project that took over a decade to build from + Mpact Games.
Hanako: Honor & Blade takes players online for immersive battles in a magnificent recreation of feudal Japan between up to 24 players. Players can help decide a nation’s future by playing as one of four distinct warrior classes, including the proficient swordsman, mighty spearman, eagle-eyed archer, or agile ninja. Each class has different building / skill options and features directed combat, mind-based abilities and skills to gain an added advantage. Players will take on the role of one of two clans and seek to defeat their opponents across multiple game modes and maps, with each game level featuring unique obstacles and mechanics that will require strategy and teamwork to defeat enemies.
Matt Canei, the team leader, said:
As we put the finishing touches on Hanako: Honor & Blade, we reflect on the bittersweet journey we’ve shared to honor those we’ve lost. Seeing the transformation of the Yamai Castle map to celebrate a cleansing victory brings out the emotional impact of what our team accomplished using our own resources.
You can play Hanako September 15 on PC (via Steam) for $ 14.99.
