MICOOP exceeded guarantees last month, giving nearly $ 1.79 million
The past month has been one of the biggest for Michigan’s online poker market, which launched on January 29 of this year.
Much of this must be credited to the success of the second MICOOP, which far exceeded the $ 1.5 million in guarantees provided.
When all has been said and done, the Series of 18 days and 68 events almost cashed in $ 1.79 million for MI players. In all there was 18 836 entries.
While impressive numbers are certain, the event came short of over $ 2.2 million awarded during the first MICOOP series, held shortly after its launch in February and March.
Pennsylvania also dominated the PokerStars tri-state market for the period. Keystone State’s PACOOP series has awarded nearly $ 2.38 million in price, attracting more than 25,500 entries.
In the NJCOOP, more than 10,500 entries resulted in more than $ 1.1 million in price on 60 events.
