First person puzzle adventure game Backfirewall_ will make its way to a device near you later this year.
Revealed on Sunday PC gaming fair, the game published by All in! Games and developed by Naraven Games finds the player taking care of a phone’s operating system only to find that the phone has other plans. A trailer can be seen below.
Julia Jean, Creative Director at Naraven Games, had this to say about the game:
“We want gamers to feel like they’re starring in a Pixar movie while reflecting on the rather insane way we interact with our everyday digital devices. If you think twice about updating your phone after playing Backfirewall_, our job is done!”
Raul Nieto, Marketing Manager at All in! The games also said:
“Backfirewall_ is a truly refreshing take on a narrative adventure and we’re thrilled to bring such a fun and wholesome experience that everyone can relate to. Naraven Games has tapped into something with real originality that addresses our daily connectivity on algorithmic digital platforms and our recurring relationship with our smartphones.
Backfirewall_ will be coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. A demo is available at Steam at present.
