Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games start releasing next month

It looks like you don’t have to wait long if you fancy playing Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games for some nostalgia. In a now-deleted preview video, the publisher revealed that the remastered Final Fantasy game series will begin releasing in sequence in July. We don’t have a more specific date than that, but we’re only a few days into the new month – as you may know.

While the video was taken down, people took down the details on Resetera, while Gematsu incorporated a new trailer for the clip. The 30-minute presentation features Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, composer Nobuo Uematsu, and Square Enix veteran Yoshinori Kitase. You have great memories, behind the scenes stories, and a glimpse of what happened in the remaster of the new games. Things end with a trailer that confirms release plans.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series includes individual re-releases of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. You also get renewed pixel art characters from Square Enix pixel artist Kazuko Shibuya, which has been around since the first game.

Here’s an E3 trailer, if you fancy a reminder:
