It took a few years, but Darksiders 3 is officially heading to Nintendo Switch.
After launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2018, Darksiders 3 will finally release on Nintendo Switch on September 30 – featuring both The Crucible and Keepers of the Void DLC.
The announcement came earlier today on Twitter, with THQ Nordic’s official account sending out a brief message. Beyond the announcement of the base game’s release date and DLC, there was no other information on any graphical changes or additional gameplay improvements.
However, we have learned that it will be available in digital and physical format.
Considering he’s arriving a few years late to the party, it’s great to see both The Crucible and Keepers of the Void included with your purchase. The Crucible features a new game mode that pits you against 101 waves of increasingly difficult enemies, while Keepers of the Void features a new storyline and variety of exclusive armor for Fury.
While it didn’t set the world on fire when it launched, Darksiders 3 still managed to get mixed reviews. Some fans enjoyed his brutal, fast-paced fight and unique storyline, while others felt he just wasn’t doing enough to improve the format of the previous two installments.
Darksiders 3 will be available for Nintendo Switch on September 30.
