Final-round action from the last major tournament of the 2022 golf season gets underway on Sunday as The Open Championship draws to a close 150th historic tournament in St. Andrews. The beauty of summer surrounds Scotland as The Open returns to the birthplace of golf for the first time since 2015. This week marked the 30th occasion the Old Course has hosted the Open, and given of the anniversary, the location, the extremely talented field and a solid ranking, many refer to this event as one of the most important majors in history.

Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland emerged Saturday to take the lead after 54 holes. The two shot rounds of 66 with their pairing combining for an eagle, 11 birdies and a bogey on the day. McIlroy is looking to break a streak without a major dating back to 2014, while Hovland hopes to break through in a historic major championship on the Old Course. It looked like one of the pair would become champion golfer of the year, but it was Cameron Smith who made an important run on the back nine on Sunday to jostle with McIlroy for the lead at St. Andrews.

Unfortunately, Tiger Woods’ week didn’t go well. He got off to a rocky start from the first tee, posting his worst round at the Open on Thursday before posting a 75 on Friday to sit near the bottom of the standings. Tiger got emotional going up the 18th fairway knowing he would miss the cut at The Open for the second consecutive time overall (2019) and the second consecutive time in as many appearances at St. Andrews (2015).

While attending The Open Championship can be fun and, especially this year, memorable, just being able to watch golf on one of the game’s biggest stages in St. Andrews is an incredible pleasure. CBSSports.com is thrilled to bring you comprehensive coverage of The Open all weekend.

Enough talk. Here’s how you can watch as much of The Open as possible over the weekend. Don’t miss the complete list of Round 4 Departure Times and Agreements for Sunday, and be sure to tune in for live Open rankings coverage of the final at St. Andrews.
