Battlefield 2042 teaser redacted?
We already knew that a free game element could make its way to the Battlefield franchise, which will see them follow in the footsteps of their rivals Call of Duty and take a sheet of their own book with Apex Legends.
While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, could it be called Redacted? This is what the devs teased us on Monday with a mysterious sound playing in the background and not much to take away from the Twitter Publish.
The comments went berserk, with fans offering their own response to what this might be related to. But with the free-to-play game starting to take over the industry in the 2020s, don’t be surprised to see Battlefield 2042 heading in the same direction.
That being said, a Battle Pass was first introduced during Battlefield V, maybe it was a tester before this game? Who knows. But we will have all the answers we need very soon.
