Another successful PWBA season to conclude… – The Morning Sun

The 2021 PWBA Tour schedule concludes with a series of events in Reno, Nevada, October 24-31.

The Fall Classic Series features the final three events of the 2021 season – Reno Classic (ending Tuesday),
PWBA Pepsi Classic (October 27-28) and the PWBA Tour Championship (29-30-31).

All three events take place at the National Bowling Stadium. You can watch the NBS action live on BowlTV.com. The Reno Classic and Pepsi Classic feature the same format, with the Pepsi Classic Finals taking place on BowlTV Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.

The combined qualifying totals for the Reno Classic and Pepsi Classic (24 games) determine the 24 athletes who will qualify for the season-ending Tour Championship, the third major of the 2021 season.

Pinfall drops back to zero at the start of the Championship Tour, with all forwards bowling three blocks of eight round robin games on Friday and Saturday. The top five competitors, based on the total number of pins and bonus pins, will advance to Sunday’s Stepladder Final.

The Tour Championship finals will air Sunday at 5 p.m. on CBS Sports Network, with the winner taking home a top prize of $ 50,000. Also at stake: Player of the Year (two-time winner Shannon O’Keefe, Dasha Kovalova and Verity Crawley are all in the mix for this hotly contested race) and Rookie of the Year (Stephanie Zavala currently leads after Day 1 of the last series of PWBA tours for the 2021 season),
