A “brand new” game from Tom Clancy’s universe is unveiled tomorrow

Ubisoft has announced that it will unveil “a brand new game in the Tom Clancy universe” tomorrow at 11:00 am PT / 7:00 pm BST / 8:00 pm CEST. Of course, that immediately raised hopes for a possible surprise Splinter Cell game announcement – but it seems more likely to be an appropriate reveal from The Division Heartland.

If you forgot, Heartland is a new free-to-play MMO spin-off from The Division series that was announced earlier this year by the Red Storm team – but other than a few details, such as the presentation of a “all -new perspective on the universe in a new setting” and confirmation that it is coming out 2021/2022, it has not been properly highlighted. It skipped E3 entirely this year, with the only Tom Clancy games being the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction and Siege.

While Heartland seems the most likely subject for a reveal since it hasn’t been shown yet, a quick glance at responses to Ubisoft’s tweet reveals that the Tom Clancy game most people want to see is a new Splinter Cell title.

Aside from crossovers like the Operation Shadow Legacy expansion for Rainbow Six Siege, Sam Fisher hasn’t appeared in a full game since Splinter Cell: Blacklist in 2013 – although a VR game is in the works for Facebook, per coincidence. , Red storm.

On the flip side, the phrase “things are going to get crazy” is reminiscent of Ghost Recon Wildlands, so maybe Ubisoft is planning a return to this disappointing game – which is still getting updates, so Ubisoft clearly did not give up.

While The Division Heartland is the logical option and Splinter Cell the fan-favorite choice, we won’t really know until tomorrow’s reveal – so be sure to log in and pray it isn’t a mobile game.
